Passing on more of the story of the Ewart’s of Rozelle
Well regarded Colin Ewart (back row, 3rd from left) of Rozelle Baseball Club in Sydney, Australia lost an eye early in the 1926 season when he was hit by a baseball. The Club were eventual 2nd Grade Runners Up with the season concluding on 28 August.
On September 4 of the same year, the New South Wales Association held a gala day at Leichhardt Oval for the benefit of Colin Ewart.
